Alex, you are looking mighty slim these days. Perhaps it’s all the skiing. I guess we can scratch off that second fat-off at some point in the future, at least for now.
When did your dad first start having a moustache? That might be the answer to moustache for life, or not. Also, I think everyone could agree they’d rather buy pies off a guy with a moustache.

Tom,
Don’t let these fashion poses fool you - I am fat.
My dad has had a moustache since 17, I believe, some I’m way overdue on that scale. Plus, becoming one’s father is something I think that happens naturally and to one’s detriment, rather than something someone strives for.
The pie argument does hold a ton of wahter - as Vinny would say.

Marty, I googled you.
Marty is a 1955 romance film based on a teleplay by the same name. It was directed by Delbert Mann, starring Ernest Borgnine in the title role, and Betsy Blair as the female lead.
A sleeper hit, the film enjoyed national and international success, winning the 1955 Academy Award for Best Picture and becoming only the second American film to win the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Marty and The Lost Weekend (1945) are the only two films to win both organizations’ grand prizes, though in 1946 Cannes did not give a Palme d’Or which makes Marty the only film to win both awards.
