SK sent me this photo to end our content drought. It made me realize we could just write and talk about Max for the rest of the month and solve a lot of our "lack of creativity" problems.
Saul also suggested starting a TEXT MESSAGE OF THE WEEK box on the front page. Because he’s on his way to JOKE ERASED FROM EXISTENCE DUE TO COMPLAINT, I thought I’d just chime in with my favorite Max text from the last few months.

funny thing about those porno mags is that i, desperate for material back in the days of not having my own computer and being too chickenshit to buy any (still am), accepted a small bundle of them that max was nervously trying to get rid of, having caught the fear that his parents would find them somehow. when my parents called me in korea to tell me that they were selling our house and moving, my mind immediately shot to the beat up cardboard box in the corner of my room containing said used magazines, as well as a couple other choice ones i picked up on vacation one time. my mom repacked them, of course, without comment, and i just found them lying in storage here in new jersey the other day. i’m not sure what i’m gonna do with them. any takers?
